FAVES Times Two!

Hey!

I'm back this morning to share a card using 2 of my favourite stamp sets from the Uniko Studio October Release & 2 of my favourite colours for Christmas cards...

I started out by revisiting a layout I've used recently on this card I shared HERE, I just elongated it to a 14 x 10.5 cm card. The colours I've used and more specifically the inks are the new line of VersaMagic Inks that Caz has in the shop. They stamp wonderfully and so vibrant don't you think? 

This was a super quick card to make, another to add to the mass produceable list, if required! I added some rhinestones to the snowflakes, but to make it mail friendly a bit of glitter would look just as pretty.

Jolly Christmas!

It's Beverley here with another little JOLLY Christmas card to share & also remind you all about my upcoming demo & class at The Paperlane on Saturday 9th November! There are a few places left on the class so be sure to book with Caz to secure yours.

Anyway, I made this little card to share with you all...

Yup, I've inked up Jolly Santa from Jolly Christmas and had fun with a little paper piecing. I rarely use patterned paper in my cards even though I have a HUGE stack of lovely papers! I decided to use a patterned paper from Basic Grey's Nordic Holiday. Along with using the paper for Santa I decided to add a strip down either side of the white panel he is stamped on.

I added a sentiment also from the Jolly Christmas set to a banner & some glitter to add a little sparkle & finish things off.  Paper piecing is just one of the techniques we will be doing in the class on Saturday, it's so much fun and can add a totally different look to your projects.

Introducing... Peace On Earth

Hey!

I'm back today with another product introduction that reflects the peaceful side of the holiday season...

A modern, graphic yet elegant dove is the main feature of this set, I kept things really simple & easily mass producible with this first card. I simply stamped the dove & sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink. A simple branch stamped in green & a good dose of glitter to the dove finished the card off nicely.

My next card pairs todays set with the Stunning Snowflakes set which was introduced HERE yesterday.

The snowflakes are stamped & embossed with White Cosmic Shimmer EP onto a lovely blue CS,  this  provided the perfect back drop for a gold embossed dove on a strip of vellum.

Introducing Designer Dies Snowflakes & Stunning Snowflakes Clear Stamps

Today, I get to introduce two of my favourite products of this release, Designer Dies Snowflakes & Stunning Snowflakes clear stamp set. These are NOW available to purchase at The Paperlane!

Lets get to the cards...

I decided to create a CAS country rustic feel on my cards by using Kraft  & Cream card stock mixed with some linen thread.

I started out by stamping the snowflake strip from Background Builders: Christmas in Vintage Cream ink & the sentiment from Peace On Earth (more on this later in the week) in Chocolate Chip ink. I then wrapped some linen thread around the layer and created a loopy bow of thread to place behind the die cut snowflake.

This first card then led onto this next card...

This time I switched the card stock colours around and layered the medium & small die cut snowflakes. The sentiment is also from Peace On Earth, which you will get a closer look at later in the week.

Now, I'm changing gears colour wise to share a couple of cards using Stunning Snowflakes...

This first card is a one layer card, perfect for mailing out and it didn't take too long to create. The most time consuming part was stamping the snowflake background. I didn't time myself but this card didn't take me more than 10 minutes to make.

My next card was also a super quick card to create...

The snowflakes are stamped in Turquoise Gem & Red Magic VersaMagic ink which Caz has in stock, it stamps beautifully.

Introducing All Occasion Sentiments #4

Hey & Happy Monday!

It's an exciting time for Uniko Studio as it is NEW release time. All the new products are NOW available to purchase at The Paperlane :)

So as I introduce each new product on the Uniko Studio Blog HERE, I'd share them here too! Todays product that I am introducing is the next in the line up of those large focal sentiments contained in All Occasion Sentiments #4...

I decided to use the 'Merry & Bright' sentiment contained in the set. Each of the words & ampersand come as separate stamps, making it easier for different combinations & layouts.

This card also gives you a peek at two of the building stamps from Background Builders: Christmas which you will get a introduction to later in the week. It just pairs so nicely with the 'Merry & Bright' sentiment from the set I'm introducing today!

This kit focuses on the NEW BRIGHT Butterflies Designer Dies & contains 6 projects using the dies in different ways. The kit contains all the instructions, card stock & embellishments needed to make the cards. The dies & stamps used SOLD SEPARATELY.

Uniko Studio Class Sneak Peeks!

It's Beverley here, I thought I'd pop by and share a few sneak peeks at what we will be creating in the class this Saturday 11th May 2pm - 5pm...

We will be getting creative with re-inkers to create 2 birthday cards, one for the guys and one for the girls.

How about some colourful florals using the newly released Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum set?! We will be dusting off the Copic markers for some simple colouring techniques to create the 3 colourful cards above.

Not All Black & White

Hey!

I'm back today with a couple more cards to share that I made on Saturday at The Paperlane during the demo...

Yep, it's negative die cutting AGAIN with the soon to be released Designer Dies BRIGHT Butterflies! This time I used some muted DP behind the butterflies and was trying out some NEW Cosmic Shimmer EP on the celebrate sentiment...

This EP is pretty awesome & is super for picking up fine details. So I then went on to make this card...

I already had the 2 butterflies die cut from the card above & so stamped the coordinating butterfly with VersaMark ink and embossed them with the Cosmic Shimmer EP. I then stamped the black card base with one of the larger doilies from Decorative Doilies - The Hands Of Time in Fresh Snow ink. I used the same sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday as in the first card above but stamped it onto some Hibiscus Burst CS for that 'POP' of colour. The butterflies are adhered to the card using foam adhesive to add dimension...

I love how the embossing powder really shows off the flower detail on the butterflies wing! I treated myself to some NEW Cosmic Shimmer Silver Glitter whilst in the shop & I can't wait to try it out on a project or two., so watch out for those here on the blog!

NEW Uniko Studio Designer Dies!

Did you miss the fun on Saturday here at The Paperlane? Worry not I'm here this evening to share a few projects that we made during the Uniko Studio class using the NEW Uniko Studio Designer Dies BRIGHT Butterflies which are NOW available in shop!

I shared a couple of class cards before the class HERE and HERE but we made another using the new dies...

This card uses a mix of Uniko Studio clear stamps along with the dies; Time, Wonderful Washi, BRIGHT Butterflies & Label Love: Birthday. All of these available in the shop along with the lovely KaiserKraft heart shaped buttons! 

We also decorated some kraft bags with lovely die cut butterflies...

It might have been freezing outside on Saturday but in the shop it was just like Spring! 

The next Uniko Studio class is available for booking & is filling up FAST as we will be using the NEW April Release stamps! I'll be doing a demo from 10am-2pm using the NEW stamps and the class is from 2pm - 5pm just contact Caz to secure your spot. I'd love to see you there & have you join us for some crafty fun!

Positive Emphasis on the Negative...

It's Bev here again, did you enjoy the peek yesterday of one card we will be making in Saturday's class? If that wasn't enough to whet you appetite I've another card to share with you today...

This is another card that we will be making in the class. This card uses the BRAND NEW Uniko Studio BRIGHT Butterflies Designer Dies which haven't officially launched over at Uniko Studio. The Paperlane customers & class attendees are getting an exclusive opportunity to see, try & buy these beauties nearly 3 weeks before official release! How cool is that?!

This card uses one of the dies to create butterfly windows to show off some lovely designer paper. This technique of emphasising the negative is so much fun & is a great way to use up those scraps of patterned paper in your stash!

Uniko Studio Class Sneak Peek!!

It's Beverley here, I thought I'd pop by with a card to share which gives you a peek at what we will be up to in the class on Saturday!

I've been waiting for these beauties to arrive in the studio & couldn't wait to give them a try!! This close up photo might give you a better hint at what the NEW product is...

Officially this product isn't going to be released till April but...

I will demonstrating a NEW Uniko Studio product in the morning from 10am - 2pm and then we will be using the NEW product in the class from 2pm - 5pm on some lovely Spring themed projects! Places still available, but be sure to book to avoid disappointment! This product will also be available to buy!
