Hello ladies,
just a couple of dates for your diary!

This Saturday we have a free die cutting demo using The Big Shot. If you get muddled up with which sandwich to use for what, or what you can do with die cutting machines, this is for you!
11am to 2pm.

Saturday 24th November.  Grunge it up! Get down and dirty with a fab all day class with Sarah.
10am to 4pm. £25.00. Give me a call to book your place!

Saturday 1st December. UNIKO STUDIO DEMO.  So happy to have Bev from Uniko here from 11am to 2pm for a Clean and Simple style using her own fabulous stamps.

Christmas class and new demo!

Hi all,
just to remind you we have Sarahs christmas class this Saturday, a few places left and Clares class on the 20th. Too good to miss ladies!!!
I have also added a die cutting demo on the 28th. so many different dies now, pop along and see how easy it is!

Sunday Workshop

Well, today was my last planned class this year at The Paperlane. This was a beginner Copic Colouring class, with a project to make. There were five lovely ladies with me today (Mari, June, Bev, Susan and Julie - Hi Ladies!!). Today was a bit of a giggle, as once we got through the colouring to the project things got a bit hectic! Mental note to self....how many layers do you need on a project???? Lol!

 

Still, here it is - this is the sample for the session today. I used a gorgeous new stamp - this is little Miss 'Candy Canes'. She is a Saturated Canary rubber stamp, which is SO good - I can distress ink these lovelies to my heart's content - although this is Copic'd! Caz has them in stock - but they are not online! We made a gift card pouch - I love making these, as a gift card never looks much floating around a normal card, but this makes it more of a gift I think.

Stamp: Saturated Canary - Candy Canes, Hero Arts Mixed Christmas Messages (not visible in photos)

Papers: Teresa Collins' Christmas Cottage 6x6 pad, and matching Washi tape

Dies: Memory Box Frostyville - Wreath & Border

Embellies: Buttons, Star Dust Stickles, Waco Pearl Pen, Organza Ribbon

Saturated Canary. have landed

Hello, Well the Saturated Canary stamps have finally landed, But be quick as they are flying out the door. Some lovely designs of these popular stamps in stock.

Just wanted to share with you a card I've made using one of these lovely stamps.

This ones called Windy day.

Very apt for today's weather its been rather blustery.

Just used my copic markers to colour this image.

Skin : E000, E00, E11,R20

Hair : E29,E25,E21

Dress : V91,V95,BG000,B00,V000,R000

Kite: BG000, R000,E33

Flower: V000,G82

Eyes: G82

Outline of image :C0,C1,C2,C3

I also added glitter but camera does not show up how pretty and twinkling the image truly is.

For the embellishments to this card it was just simply lace and ribbon scraps, Buttons and some pearl trim a few frosted plastic flowers dotted in as well.

Distressing Bank Holiday!

Hello One and All! Thanks for visiting!

Please don't get upset by the title - even though it has been raining most of the weekend so far, we have had a lovely weekend at The Paperlane! Today was a workshop on how to use Distress Inks to colour character stamps. The project that we made was a small gift bag - all of the ingredients for the project are listed below.

All of the images were coloured with Distress Inks, and we had great fun playing with the technique - they all concentrated so much it was silent at times! I thought they had all gone home ;-)

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mum's in the UK!

A while back I bought this cute Wild Rose Studio Bella stamp from The Paperlane & hadn't found time to ink & colour her in! So I found some time yesterday to make this card ...

Looks like I NEED a lot more practice with my Copic markers!! I kept the card really CAS as to not take the focus off the lovely image.
