well my stress levels are back to normal after the fire and we had a great weekend with Clare Rowlands as always.

Sooo many men, so little time.....

Well what a night everyone. Sooo many men, all in uniform in my shop........oh if only they wernt so busy; saving it!!!!

It wasnt actually The Paperlane on fire but the building only 4 meters behind it! I feel so lucky that i only have cracked glass and a bit of a smelly mess to show for the night. It was a VERY close thing as hot embers were coming in the kitchen window and the flames could be seen as Sarah drove (keeping to the speed limit of course) into Northallerton to keep me company as i was sure The Paperlane was going up too!
I was stood on pavement at 3am, waiting to see what would be left.
Thankyou firemen. You saved my shop. (before anyone else asks, yes, i did let them all go, no firemen stashed in the cupboard for later consumption!!!)
Thankfully i can say; OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL!!!!!!!
